Day 12 Prompt: What do you miss? (a person, a thing, a place, a time of your life...)
I'm with you on trying not to dwell on things missed ...people, friends, opportunities ~ reflection is nice but sometimes can lead us to a sad place ... if I'm making a list of what I don't miss, I fill with joy hahahahaha!!! Judi
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of a "what I don't miss list" and might have to get on that one soon!
DeleteAs I read your post, I realized that so much of what you wrote, is what I wrote also.
ReplyDeleteAnd it hurts my heart to realize that there are others out there that feel similar, that have experienced things that have resulted in pain and loss of childhood.
It is one of the worst things, I think.
I wish that I found comfort in knowing others have walked similar paths, but instead it causes hurt. I know some realms of inner-work use that comparing to help feel less alone, but.... sheeshe! Sometimes things just suck no matter how you look at em!
