365 Days of Giving Thanks
Day 78 - Friday 2/1/13 - I really do love my job.... yet, I am grateful that the work week is over.
Day 79 - Saturday 2/2/13 - Grilled cheese sandwiches really make me smile. That's all.
Day 80 - Sunday 2/3/13 - I am so thankful to have The Pup. He's been extra cuddly today!
Day 81 - Monday 2/4/13 - I have the world's best team. It is very comforting to know they are there whenever I need them, and today, I needed them.
Day 82 - Tuesday 2/5/13 - Today I'm thankful that I've learned when to engage and when to walk away. Saved me a big headache today!
Day 83 - Wednesday 2/6/13 - I am grateful for hot roasted carrots on a cold day. Delish dinner!
Day 84 - Thursday 2/7/13 - What a day! I am so proud of my students and their hard work, and am grateful that so many people came to see their presentations!
#82 has been (and continues to be) a real struggle for me. What a gift to have had an epiphane about it!
ReplyDeleteI'll admit, it's the first time I was able to actually walk away.... and it felt really good!
DeleteI think you are doing a wonderful job keeping up with this! A great list! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Tamara. Some days are easier than others, but I'm really liking this!
DeleteEvery morning, I write five things I am grateful for on my facebook page. Every night, before I go to bed, I do the same. Most of them are silly, they are all true and importatnt to me.
ReplyDeleteThe interesting thing to me is that ever since I started doing it, I will have co-workers that will call me out if I don't do it a certain day or if I was too late with a post. That makes me smile because that was not the intent. My intent was and still is that if I look at the positive things in my life and I start and end my day on a positive note, life feels more positive.
I commend you on having this beautiful list.
Wow! Thank you for sharing with me! I love that people call you out if you don't post your lists. Sounds like the intent of finding the positives is making a positive impact on not just your life. I've toyed with the idea of doing morning/night, or a few things each day, and that might happen eventually, I hope! Thank you for your compliment!
